Attractions

A leap, a skull, a giant fish, and a path through the trees.

Crocodiles can leave the water by about their own body length. At Jong’s you watch that happen on purpose, twice a day, and then walk on to a museum and a pond of arapaima.

Crocodile feeding.

The demonstration runs at one of the saltwater ponds. Crocodiles come up out of the water, and the splash reaches the gallery. It is loud and it is close. The viewing side is safe.

Which pond is fed changes. Ask a member of staff when you arrive so you are standing at the right rail. Miss 11:00 and the afternoon show is at 3:00.

Weekends & public holidays

Extra feeding and holding times.

Besides the daily 11:00 and 3:00 crocodile feeds, weekends and public holidays add a 1:00 PM crocodile feeding show. Giant crocodile feeding is at 4:00 PM every Sunday only. Sessions may change with weather, animal welfare, or operations.

Arapaima, half an hour later.

The arapaima is a South American freshwater giant. Some grow past 10 feet and 180 kilograms. This pond also holds more than 15 other tropical freshwater fishes.

Feeding happens from a stage in the middle of the water, with lilies around it. People sit there after the crocodile show. It is the quiet half-hour.

Just inside the gate

The crocodile museum.

Recognised as a unique attraction dedicated to crocodile history and heritage in Malaysia, just inside the gate. The collection keeps the skull of Bujang Senang — associated with fatal attacks in the Batang Lupar area — plus historic photographs, eggs, a nest, and a skeleton replica.

Between the ponds

Jungle walk, peacock garden, holding session.

The path runs through thick planting, with enclosures set back in the shade. Peacocks use the garden and the bridges. There is a small Tua Pek Kong shrine along the way, with crane figures and red lanterns.

On weekends and public holidays, keepers run a supervised crocodile holding experience from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM and 1:00 PM–3:00 PM. The adults stay in the ponds.
